Okay. Even if I shaved the beard, that fellow would not be me. My chef coat is pressed and ready. I’m working on a grin that is worthy of the anticipated changes. I’ll have a chef portrait posted as soon as possible. In the meantime, this chef-associate is smiling a welcome for the new McHuston Booksellers, with the addition of the Irish Bistro.
For those of you who don’t know or may have forgotten, previous to the BA Bookstore, McHuston was part of the corporate name that operated an Irish Restaurant and Pub alongside restaurant row in Tulsa, OK.
We’re bringing back some of the traditional recipes and dishes to Downtown BA. The new store is not quite ready, but the walls are near-painted and the flooring about to be situated. Bookshelves, books, and the lunch-menus are on stand-bye.
The chefs were all younger back then, but the recipes for the new locale are all the more tried-and-true.
Give us a visit, soon!
